New Discoveries

Recently at NHMLAC, my team and I implemented a program to highlight exciting new discoveries by research staff. This has included ultra-rare pacific footballfish that washed onshore in 2020 and a giant ichthyosaur that is the largest animal found from its time period.   Our team developed a custom set of cases that can safely display objects flat while still providing accessible viewing angles.
